Do you offer staffing only services?
No, we only offer full service catering. If you only need servers or bartenders we suggest you contact a staffing agency
Can I request specific servers to work my event?
Yes, we always do our best to book your favorite team members for your event.
If I hire Little Gem, do I need to have a kitchen available for you to use?
No, we can rent everything we need to build a kitchen. All we need is a place to set up where our chefs can comfortably work.
Do you offer delivery or drop off services?
We do not offer delivery or food drop off, or do events that dont have at least one chef working. That being said, if you have a special request you would like us to consider, please reach out.
Do you coordinate rentals for our event?
Yes, we have multiple rental partners and are happy to coordinate all rentals for your event, including catering needs as well as other event rentals you may require. Some of our preferred partners are shown here.
If I hire you for a dinner party at home, what will the process look like?
After gathering information from you about the format, menu and what services you require, you will receive a menu and proposal to approve. When the event day arrives, the Little Gem team will set the table with your in-home china, crystal, silver or with rentals that we have preselected together. They will also prepare the kitchen for the chefs, batch cocktails and chill wine. When guests arrive, the team will greet them, procure drinks, offer canapes, and then move on to full dinner service as outlined in the proposal. Post guest departure we handle all cleaning, for both the tabletop and the kitchen, so your home is left in immaculate condition. The experience is totally turn key for you.
Can I provide my own beverages or desserts for events?
Yes, you can provide your own beverages and / or dessert and no additional fees are charged for doing so.
Do you have a minimum spend?
We ask that clients spend $3,500 before tax, but that can include all beverages, rentals, and administraion fees.
Are you insured?
Yes, Little Gem is fully insured and can furnish a COI as needed. We also carry auto and liquor liability insurance.
Can Little Gem provide a SLA permit if my event venue requires one?
Yes, Little Gem can file the forms needed to procure you an SLA permit. Please be mindful that there are fees involved and the process takes time.
